Safety drills and minor repairs & upgrades (noted on Inspection Report), remove necessary gear and start to stow race gear, and clean things up in preparation for the race.
Required safety drills include the following:
Man Overboard
Dismasting
Life Raft/Life Jackets
Flares
StormTrysail
Rudder/Steering Loss
Communications
EPIRB
Abandon Ship
Fire Fighting
Preventer Rigging
80% of the crew is required to participate (that's 6 guys)
