The 2014 Down the Bay Race experienced a very broad range of conditions from the frustrating - caught with no wind while watching boats that we passed catch up to us as the new breeze filled in from behind us; to a scary wave round up and crash gybe in 35 knots. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and we recovered quickly. Peter Dahlstrom caught the downwind start on video. Still waiting for the results.
