The Gulf Stream and Navigating to Bermuda

The Race to Bermuda is all about the Gulf Stream - on this chart the red is showing 3 knots of current. Newport is located at the top of the chart, just to the right of the center, Bermuda at 32.24 North Latitude and 64.39 West Longitude and is located along the right just below the middle of the chart. Looks like some favorable current that curves toward Bemuda is just south of the rhumb line. This band of current is moving slowly to the Northeast.
